Even if she wasn't running against Trump they still would vote for her because she is on the Dem ticket.

Let's say the Republican candidate was Kasich. The Dems would still vote for the scum Hillary.

He just said, he isn't even a democrat and I'm not even American. It's not about liking Hillary so much, it's about the lesser of two evils, as is usual in politics. Trump appealing to the most primitive instincts of borderline primitive people and quite possibly being a primitive himself, judging by everything he says. And on the other side, just more of the same. An unknown rogue quantity, which absolutely goes against every grain of what I value and is a possible danger to the whole world if in charge of nuclear weapons and the biggest military that ever existed. On the other side, a known quantity delivering a bit more of the usual corporate boot licking, but, in all probability won't set the world on fire on a whim.

That's also the only reason why I even care. The possible dangers to the whole world if a bigoted loudmouth with an ego complex manages to park his ass in the White House.

Guilty, as charged - not that I agree that Hillary is a scumbag.

As long as the Republicans pander to the religious right and spout anti-science rhetoric, they are disqualified from getting my vote. If they change that, I'll give them consideration. Otherwise, yeah, I'll vote for whoever is the Democrat - barring some total nut job like Trump runs on our side. Hillary isn't remotely in that category so she gets my vote.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
