Been in the family longer than I have (the photo above is not mine, but mine looks just like it, wood grain & all). I have a System III as well, plus about 20 games (there were originally more), some of which also predate yours truly and all of which still work just fine.

I have a trilobite fossil in my collection. That had already been hopelessly old tech when dinosaurs were bleeding edge.

LOL!

My mother is terrible for malapropisms.

She saw a Toucan on TV and called it a "Duotang"

For those who are unfamiliar with one or both of these items,

this is a Toucan:

This is a duotang:

She also refers to the restaurant "Licks"...

...as "Lick-A-Place"

And she has been known to refer the Kyoto Protocol as "The Coyote Agreement"

And most embarrassingly, back in the 90s, when we both worked at the same hotel,
she used to carry a pager with her, but couldn't seem to recall that it was, in fact, called a "pager",
and when she accidentally locked it in the office,
she had to go down to the front desk and embarrass the dickens out of the young man working there
by asking him to call the custodian because she left her "vibrator" in the office.

" I need my vibrator.  There's no point in going up to the hotel rooms without my vibrator. "

It is doubly funny because my Mom is EXTREMELY modest and conservative
and when she realized what she said, she was MORTIFIED.

Sounds like Mom might need a special present from Adam and Eve. ohhh..ohhh...ohhh....
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Not a tech device, but I have an original Worms CD ROM in very good condition (especially considering I played that game religiously) and in it's original case with the manual. It was released in 1995 so it's over 20 years old now. Of course it's only playable on DOS.

Never heard of it, had to look it up.

You missed out. Worms was (and is) a hilariously fun game, especially multiplayer.

And custom sounds!
I remember a particular "Simpsons" sound pack that was awesome!
