That's fine, neither do I, but Charles Atlas here does for his book and I put you in his shoes. Basically, Radar, you answered a question I didn't ask. Thanks for saving us some time anyway.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

That's good.
Since almost every time it makes a statement about the natural world, it gets it wrong.
Must be metaphore, right?
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Or maybe we're just taking him out of context?
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Why doesn't Allah just send us an unambiguous sign that must be from him and can be from nowhere else?
Like for example, the Koran predicting next week's lottery numbers?
Oh sorry, I've just checked and all the numbers in next week's lottery are indeed in the Koran. And they're in the Bible too!
Checkmate Atheists! Praise be to God the All-Composite and Fanciful!!!

I got news for your buddy: There are not seven heavens and thrones sink in water.
And, seriously, Daily Mail? They absolutely hate the Ummah.
