Dinosaurs and the bible

They like science when it provides them with a higher standard of living. It's only when scientists and other professional researchers talk about thinks like evolution, global warming and the innate characteristics of sexual orientation that suddenly science has been taken over by a cabal of Satanic atheists seeking to destroy our way of life.

Yep, two bit fucking phonies, most of them. For that reason one has to respect the Amish. They may be stone, cold, fuck nuts, but at least they put their money where their mouths are.

Dinosaurs never lived around with humans at all. Creationists claim that the bibles story of noah states that the dinosaurs were extinct because of the flood. I still wonder why we don't find human remains along with the dinosaur fossils. If the bible was right, we should find human bones, but do we? Wink

Dinosaur bones?

Oh, God put those here to test our faith!
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Even better, why would a flood bother an ichthyosaur or plesiosaur?

Well obviously one or both of those were stranded in Loch Ness (Maybe whole families!?), so that is ONE example of how the flood bothered them. Wink

OK, the question is completely rhetorical but, being the total nerd that I am, I can't help but ask:

Wouldn't the sudden mixing of such a massive quantity of fresh water (from the "rains from Heaven") mixing with the salt water of the sea effectively kill off all fish, both fresh water and salt water?

Sorry, I couldn't help it.

I guess you haven't argued much with these nitwits.

They claim that the fresh water sat on top of the salt water. This allowed the fresh water creatures to survive in the fresh water and the salt water creatures could survive in the salt water.

It's easy to answer questions like this when you think like a third grader!
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.

God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?

...and the two layers of water are separated by...?

Oh right, power of God.

...and we know this because it appears in chapter-and-verse-goes-here...?

Oh right, it's the part after the Bible that says life begins at conception but right before the part that says that marriage is one-man-one-woman.

I really try not to debate these people. My head hurts trying to follow their mental gymnastics, then I become exhausted running after their moving goal-posts and finally drop from diabetic shock after trying to swallow all their fudge factors.
