God said People who have Flat Noses Canot Serve Him

Leviticus 21:16-24 lists flat noses right up there with blindness, the scurvy, and other disabilities that disqualify people from serving in the temple.
Even though at the time, I was no longer a Christian, I was broken hearted to read 2 Samuel 5:8 where king David goes so far as to put a price on the head of the blind and lame, claiming that he hates them to his soul. This is not spiritual blindness he is talking about because Jesus told the Jews that if they were spiritually blind they would have no sin (Matthew 27:46). That's weird that even though I no longer believed in god, it still hurt to know how much he hates me when all my life I've been told that he loves me. When I tried to talk to some Christians about this, they jumped on me with both feet.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

Humans generally have protruding noses, which distinguish them from apes, which have flat noses. Humans also have chins, which no other animal has. So if you see creatures in sci-fi movies who have protruding noses and chins chances are they are humans even if they don't otherwise appear to be humans.
As for the specific passages you mentioned remember that the God character demanded blemished-free animal and plant sacrifices. Cain got rejected for his imperfect plant sacrifice.

Ok I think I get it. Basically if you don't point out some backasswards thing in the bible once and awhile christians will forget that it's there?

It's really something though how christians try to make the god of the bible all loving these days while dumping those parts of the bible out

Someone who wrote that part about flat noses must have seen a group of people with flat noses.
