Only if the pain can't be dealt with/the quality of life is too bad.
I find the idea that anyone should be allowed to end their life for any reason to be ludicrous. I imagine most of those that agree with it aren't exactly what we'd call deep thinkers.

Can we have a happy medium. It shouldn't be extremely strict but we do need some oversight. It'd be sad to see hundreds or thousands of people offing themselves just because the quality of mental health care is such shite.

There needs to be some oversight. But if you keep the patient waiting too long, they're just gonna top themselves at home as most of them already do. Or just go to Switzerland.
Point is, I don't imagine it will make much difference.
