RE: Problems understanding naturalistically the beginning of the universe
So you've replaced scientific speculation with even shakier religious speculation. That's not the positive step that you think it is.

Sure isn't.

Do these guys really think they have figured out more than scientists have about the past, by using a story book and a bunch of bare assertions?

Yep. Life is simple and dandy when you're religious...
Everything in its place and an answer in small digestible bite sizes for everything you need to know.
No need to ever stress over cold harsh realities ever again because it's part of God's plan. Why fight it?

I could probably achieve a similar effect by being drunk all the time.

This is a wrong way of seeing. I have heard the circular argument myself and I find that it gets life from theoligical ignorance. "The Bible" is not a book. It is a collection of writings that was given that name, so "The Bible is not correct because the Bible is so". The revelation of God was given to the prophets and some of them (some by God's command) wrote it, for example, Isaiah. How do I know that God created the world? He revealed it to Moses, and when He came on earth, he didn't disprove Moses's revelation but supported it.

Basically, it's written down and you believe it. You can dress it up however you like. Why believe a single word of it?

Anyone can write anything that "supports" parts of itself with other parts. Try any book ever. You just think this book is magical.

You have got to be trolling. To bad I invested time for a serious response.
