My dog is a gentle animal, I can go around with him on the street and he harms no one, except the occasional piss on someone's tire lol. Inside my yard its a different matter. Children can enter, strangers get badassery.

One of these days 2 JWs after ringing decided to barge in (i dont lock my front gate, it is just on the snap in closed, easily opened by reaching the hand to the lock).Suffice to say he got rid of them faster than I, an atheist could. "Dude, you left your watchtower pamphlets behind!" That was what I said. Suffice to say, he got a special chow from me that day.

I don't know why tougher sentences aren't imposed for animal torture/cruelty; Everyone knows that sort of behavior usually escalates.
Ten years from now, when the remains of eighteen women are discovered in his backyard, everyone will be "shocked".

Two years is ridiculous.

I think the two year sentence is rather light, but the 25 year ban on owning pets is idiotic. The minute he's out of the lock-up, he should be required to own pets, but only pets approved by his local government. Some suggestions:

-Honey badgers and Tasmanian devils (he will be required to hand feed these).

-Africanized honeybees (he must keep the hive in his bedroom).

-Wolverines (a pack).

-A male baboon. A lonely one. During the rutting season.

-A live culture of Yersinia pestis
