If you want proof prayer doesn't work, cases like this are it.
I like that they're going for first degree murder and not thi manslaughter bullshit

The truly heartbreaking part of stories like this is that kids being abused likely trust their parents, and have been so indoctrinated in religious cow flop that they just KNOW mummy and daddy and Jesus are going to make them better.
Parents like this need to be paraded round the public square on a daily basis, being forced to carry a sign reading, 'I murdered my child for Jesus.'

Nah, this is a special kind of stupid. Most christians at least have the common sense to send their kids to the hospital, or give them over the counter medication before they start praying. My sister and husband are religious, but they do make sure their daughter gets her allergy medication.
