Hey, isn't that the beautiful country where they want to hold the 2022 soccer World Cup - if there are still living workers left before construction is finished? Better directly ship chastity belts with the tickets.

Well, the woman is a dummy and too clueless to be traveling in foreign countries. If she had two brain cells in the noggin she would have known what was likely to happen. She's lucky she wasn't stoned to death. Foreign countries are not nice amusement parks. Most are real hell holes and it's easy to get into real trouble very quickly.

Sadly it's only recently marital rape became a thing in England.
I'm not sure of the exact timescale, but I'm guessing the last 100 years.
It just goes to show people generally accept how society does things at the time. It's why I'm so wary of using that thinking myself.

As a Christian, I ardently argue with other Christians that we are NOT a Christian Nation. We were founded by a diverse group of men (Christians, Catholics, Deists, Quakers, etc) and while some of our founding ideologies have roots in Christianity, the founders made it abundantly clear that we are a nation where the people are free to believe what they choose. There is little doubt that this country was founded by religious men as there are four references to God in the Declaration of Independence alone, but we are NOT a Christian Nation.
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.

I would argue whether Deism really counts as "religious", and I'm not a constitutional scholar, but some of those references to God might come from that source.
