They do murder gays. They're just rusty, comparatively.

His religious upbringing probably has played a role, since it painted him in an even tighter corner and possibly giving him an ulterior motif to get rid of what he perceived to be his inner devils. It's still repression being responsible for his deeds, and you find it with every religious nutjob blowing off at some point. Religion is just one way to justify what they do.

when clearly the shooter claim to be doing this to punish the west for attacking his "homeland."
To me this seems as just as underhanded as any other ISIS propaganda that inspires such attacks, because in the end they are using the dead to underscore and cement their political views.
... and what you're doing here is different... how, exactly?

Yeah, it sucks that a minority population is going to use the worst mass shooting in our nation's history to, you know, unify and try to get people to not murder them any more. That's a dastardly agenda those LGBT folks have.

It's not even about being murdered, since that, thankfully, doesn't happen on a daily basis. It's about pointing out what discrimination and demonization ultimately can lead to. It's about not being served at certain businesses, it's about pastors and other religious leaders constantly preaching how bad and sinful they are. All the little things preventing them from being perceived a normal part of society.

Along that line of thought, this series of tweets is incredibly moving:

From slavery to today, the blacks have had a rough time and it is not over yet. LGBT is probably not going to be any quicker as they are just the new 'black kid' on the block.

You don't hate gay people yet you are more than happy to spew extreme homophobia, like your backdoor blaming of gay culture for the deaths of 49 people?
No wonder I don't believe a word you say.

Exactly my point -- it's more likely correlation than causation in this case, I think.
