Let's see how many apologetics take the bait

RE: Let's see how many apologetics take the bait
Yet another thing that slipped gods mind, already commented on that...actually.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Like was said earlier the laws given Noah have always been true for the Gentile world, God eventually chose a man to form a nation which He did in Egypt for 400 years where they were kept safe until their numbers grew to a size God was ready to use. When they were in the desert God gave this group of people, His chosen one's new laws and the one about the pigs was for them and not the Gentiles as many others were. Look at this way a man starts a business and sets down rules for his employs, then he expands his business to in another building in another town far away and gives those employs a set of rules some that are the opposite of what he gave to the other employs, it's his right because he own's the business. The rules are not contradictory because they apply to two different sets of people in different situations. Hope this will clear up things for you even though I believe it was made plan by the other Christians to start with. You have a lot to learn. Most the atheist consider themselves logically superior to Christians on this site, seems to me they have little grasp on what logic actually is.

Only crazy people believe in ethnocentric Middle Eastern Jewish and Arabian religious fairy tales.

I'm not crazy nor are any of the other Christians here and just a note I couldn't care less about Arabian religions.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

As you are aware the fairy tale claims that you aren't supposed to eat a lot of stuff because it's an abomination.  Yet the fairy tale has people literally slicing and dicing their children and making stew out of them.  How insane is that?  Wouldn't a normal, rational sane person rather eat a pork chop, tuna, shellfish (unless allergic), or even a roasted buzzard instead of a child?

This is what happens when you accept the premise that anything is possible. Without things like 'reason,' 'logic,' 'reality,' and putting them into objectivity you could find yourself questioning reality itself and driving yourself into madness.

You must have skipped over my reply, or just ignored it for your convenience. The atheist here are starting to get quite childish over this small thing, grow-up.

I also like that part where a guy in Moses's group was told not to burn incense at sacrifices anymore but he did anyway.
God got mad about it and the ground opened up and swallowed, not just him, but all of his family and relations.
Sounds fair.
When Moses comes back with the commandments and finds out people started worshipping a golden bull, he melted it down and poured it down their throats.
Sounds fair.

After jesus dies, a couple of the disciples start up a commune.
The rule is you gotta hand over everything. Scam.
Anyway, this rich couple decide to join and hand over a bucket of money but neglect to tell them about some land they still own.
Just in case it all goes sour.
God kills them both for telling fibs.
Sounds fair.
Even though one of the disciples lied three fucking times about even knowing who jesus was.
No punishment for him.

Eye-witnessing plagues of frogs and lice and and locusts and flies and darkness and yaws and goiters and hail and death of the firstborns and then  being liberated from Egypt, the parting of the Red Sea, being led by a pillar of fire across the desert, all of that should have been pretty fucking impressive, yet there are still heretics and apostates in the multitude when they reach Mt Ararat ???  Even to the extent of trying to foist a different idolatrous religion, when a milliseconds thought should form the fucking question, what will this gold calf do for us that this pillar of fire we're following won't ??

How the holy fuck is this even remotely possible ????

These aren't chosen people, these are self lobotomized cretins.  Jehovah could do better and would have if he were real.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

So there are millions who study the bible, which means millions of minds working with the common goal of weaselling their way out of obvious discrepancies, inconsistencies, logic failures and impossibilities. Some are explained by simply attributing some other random characteristic to their nebulous definition of God, some are explained by some special insight into an imaginary being's inner thoughts, some are explained simply by the "you don't understand because you haven't studied the bible" argument.

What utter bollocks.

Why are we even arguing about semantics and interpretation when no one has demonstrated the bible even contains the word of god? What a waste of brain power.

You must have missed my post a few pages back where I tried to find a common ground between the theists and atheists in this thread. Perhaps you shouldn't tell people to grow up when the criticism can be so easily deflected back at you.

Damn, that's one heckva observation.  You'll never hear that in any church.

There would have to be logic and reason in the church. Two components that are seriously lacking in any house of worship.
