and who exactly did those guys terrorize or commit violence against? Oh yeah, no one. Throwing bugs in soup is more then any of them did. But for the record, neither of them are terrorists. I'd be extremely cautious about expanding the definition of terrorism beyond a very very strict definition. Especially considering that both presidential candidates want to shut down 'terrorist speech' and websites. Also calling it a federal building is only correct in a technical sense. It was an uninhabited station in the middle of nowhere. I'm more concerned about crickets in my soup then those guys. Which is to say, not at all.

I'd be a lot more worried by the guys with guns myself. Because the next time the building might be a lot more inhabited and they're not the type of people that'd be restrained in their actions even in the most calm of situations.

I can think of at least one left-wing terrorist group that was called "Sinn Féin." This was the political wing and mouthpiece of the Provisional IRA in Northern Ireland. They were dirty bastards who didn't a shit about anyone.

A) Sinn Fein were and are a political party.

B) If you think the PIRA was ever left wing, then I feel sorry for your inability use historical analysis. There were two left wing Irish nationalist terrorist groups in the North the Stickies or Official IRA from whom the PIRA split from over the Bloody Sunday Massacre response (and who eventually became the Workers party, staged a reverse takeover of Irish Labour and eventually became very right wing indeed), and the INLA who still exist (and like the PIRA gave up their guns as part of the GFA and now like the unionist terrorist groups look to have morphed into a criminal gang, albeit with little of the scope for criminality and terror of the UDA or UVF).
The PIRA themselves, for most of their history were traditional catholic, i.e. only slightly less right wing than Ian Paisely and the DUP. It is only recently that the political party Sinn Fein has swung to to the left, and while they seem genuine (especially in the north where they're the only party against welfare cuts, supporting female reproductive rights, support gay marriage and other issues of equality and actually do fight on these issues) it is too early to say if the change has stuck.

I think it was abasus who said it would be highly unlikely to find a left-wing terrorist group and I found one as easy as that. It just depends on which side of the water you live on. The IRA is your left-wing version of your right-wing ISIS. Scummy fucks.

BLM fits the bill.
