I'm too chicken to -
Skydive. Bungee jump. Get a lung x-ray.
I'm too chicken to walk into a store and buy my wife some feminine products.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
I'm too chicken to go out of my condo at times. It just seems like something is going to happen. No restrooms at the right places, things more expensive than I expect, too many creepy crawlies, too hot, etc.

I don't believe you. Get over it.
I don't like socialising either... and I hate/am no good at chit-chat... it just seems utterly pointless and boring to me... I don't wanna talk just for the sake of talking and I've never quite figured out what the appeal is to some people. I don't go out very much and would always prefer 'a quiet night in' if given the choice. So pubs have never really appealed to me either. The only real going out that I like is going to a club with a big dancefloor because you can get lost in the crowd and it's much less self-conscious... just focus on the DJ or whatever and tune everything else out and just let the euphoria build.
