I never understand why people's idea of a "God" would want or need worship. They make it out to be an egotist and/or some kind of fairy that depends on the power of belief to exist. Ironically, the second part is in fact true. Once there are no more people worshipping a god, it is "dead", in a manner of speaking. In other words, people stop randomly attributing things that happen to dead gods.
One that demands it and treats you less favourably for not doing it, in this life or "the next", is just an evil tyrant. It's sad to me how few people stand up to it. Why does almost no one who believes in it tell it to fuck off? Just because they think it exists, they don't have to do what it says. Or rather, what other people tell them it wants them to do. Even less reason to listen. I tell it to fuck off every day for fun, and do what I think is best, and it does absolutely nothing about it.
