To make someone happier in their last moments, I'd say do whatever prayer they want. It won't hurt anyone, and it will add some last feelings of joy to your grandma.

I'd offer the prayer. However sincere my family are in their religious beliefs, if I were terminally ill, I wouldn't want the last moments of my life to be defined by a disagreement over metaphysics. By the same token, if someone I loved was dying, I'd try to be there for them in the way that would most comfort their passing.

For someone I love, someone I love who is ill and passing away, I would fake any prayer to any god they wanted if it made them feel better.
