Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Part of me wants to slam you for being an obvious troll, but a bigger part of me worries about the real human being behind your texts. Dude, you need to go to a doctor and get meds. I'm not saying this to troll or to argue. But some of the things you've said are so clearly different than reality that I really do worry about you.

I think at heart you are a fundamentally good person. However, you have some ideas stuck in your head that are cancer to you, and I'm not sure you have a clear enough mind to be able to see that. Seriously, and I'm not joking-- ask your family if they can drive you to a doctor, a MUSLIM doctor even who you and your family really trust. Tell him some of the things you think, or print out this thread, and ask him for his honest opinion.

As for what you said: I'd almost guarantee that the Bible, the Quran and the Torah are all read about a million times more than the PotLEoZ.

RE: Origin of evil
The origin of evil is early man's misconception of human wrong doing being corrupted by the imagination in order to create an obviously false idea of supernatural occurrences.

Am I getting the impression that Harris is a student of Islam in that he is a convert? I have just read the whole of this thread and he seems to have gone out of his way to somehow disredit the Jews.

I don't know if the links have been posted, but just for Harris, here they are:

Here is the front page of The Times London, who first published an article saying it was a forgery:

Enjoy Harris.

And this is where the "Protocols of Zion", was plagiarised:

You expect facts to get in his way?

He's got some affiliation with Islam. But don't let that fool you. Antisemites like him come in all shapes and colours. Nationalists, Revisionists, Christians, Muslims. Everything's included. It's more rare with Palestinians. I don't mean the religious antisemitism but the ethnic one. They are mostly aware that they're a semite people too. So they may go on about destroying Israel, but they're not out to destroy the jews Hitler style. It would mean that their own hide is on the line too.

Judging from his responses in the thread, unfortunately, I do.

The way he is actually talking, I do get the impression that he is a muslim-convert, and he probably was a Christian at some time too. I have seen that for myself where my girlfriends nephew talks negatively about the Jews, to the point that I just go out and take a walk. It is his opinion and, rightly or wrongly he is entitled to it. As for the Palestinians, they are semites as you stated, but again, the one thing that I don't like to hear is the typical "bombardement of Palestine", by those in Islam, and they fail to speak up about Palestinian refugees in Syria who are treated nearly as bad.

The Palestinians are on the ass end at least since 1948. They were always intrumentalised by the Arab nations, by the West. Sometimes willing tools, sometimes just on the receiving end, sometimes perpetrators.

But I see a major mistake in criminalising Arafat back in the day. Yes, he commissioned acts of terrorism, but terrorism had a different look in the 70ies and 80ies. It wasn't geared at killing as many as possible, but to blackmail and to draw attention to the cause. It was only after Arafat's demise that Hamas was really able to take over. And that's a two sided medal in itself. The people being at the ass end of sanctions and closed borders only see Hamas providing hospitals, schools and food. They, as is natural with people in need, don't look beyond the positives. They don't care what they stand for. Only for what they provide.

(Bold is mine (Am I doing this correctly?))

This is where the problem lies. It is a bit like those who follow Ken Ham when they do not want to listen to anything else, regardless of the overwhelming facts that are available. There is only one solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict. That is, to elect someone who is of Palestinian origin, who will work with Israel and is genuine in their efforts. We all know that Israel will always be on their guard, however, with an agreement similar to the entente cordiale between England and France, then maybe something positive can finally come out of it. In fact, should religion ever die out in that area, then they would be able to live together in harmony.
