The Right Question
September 29, 2016 at 11:11 pm
What is the most important question we can ask? Examples:
Is God real?
Is there life after death?
Is there no end to ignorance?
Am I getting laid?
Is it possible to convince another of reality?
Is there such a thing as reality?

Depends on the individual to whom one is interacting.

Importance is entirely subjective to your personal goals.
A question that I like to ask myself is "Would I be able to state this person's assumptions, opinions, and beliefs back to them in a way that they would find accurate, or could I be rightfully blamed for distorting or omitting part of their views to fit my own agenda?"
If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

The most important question I've asked since I've been here is "What distinguishes a God from a non-God?"
I've had very few answers. The ones I have had seem arbitrary and don't match up. I conclude its a meaningless word, if it isn't simply a shorthand for "intelligent creator". An AI gave me that definition when I asked it actually. I could answer further questions then.

The most important question is "why". A series of why's.
"You can not have morals without god!"
"Why?"
"Well, because ....blah,blah,blah!"
"Why?"
In a short series of sentences you will find out whether you are getting laid or not.

"What's the second most important question I should ask after this one?"

What the hell are you talking about?
Have you seen my car keys.
Is it suppose to smell like that?
How do I know you're a Nigerian Prince?
