Jesus also allegedly said "What ever you ask in my name, I will do..." Couple that with the fact no one called him Jesus until 500 years ago, that was not his birth name. It's like have a bank called House Bank that says "Any loan you ask for in our name shall be granted" and people are asking for car loans, boat loans, loan loans....etc. Nope, only for houses.

Hey, maybe you're right, though, maybe "jesus" is inept in all of the ways that banks aren't. He's up there hanging around, with billions of people calling his name in their native languages and adopted tongues in a endless roaring cacophony of need and misery...and he just doesn't realize they're trying to reach him. I have not read in a book, but I have heard that scientists have said that prayer is effective and the cause is not God, but by praying, the subconscious mind of a person gets strength and works well. That is, if a boxer asks for help from Christ before the match, he will get the same result as if he asked for help from Satan.

About the fear of God in Christianity:
When I look at the dictionary, I see that there are words in the English language that have two opposite meanings!
Is it possible that in Hebrew or Latin, which are the sources of Christianity in these languages, there is a word that both means (fear) and supposedly means (love)?
Because the God that we should be afraid of, definitely has satanic qualities, and an alive that is full of goodness and blessings will not be afraid for us.

Prayer is just like masturbation except for one thing.
It may make the practioner feel better. I don' t care if somebody does it - even 5 times a day. I just don' t want to see it.
The only difference - is the guy wanking off has SOMETHING to show for it when he' s done.....

I know that a lot of Christians just think of prayer as asking God for stuff.
If you read the better Christian writers (Kierkegaard, for example) you'll find that most see prayer as a way to work on yourself. The idea is to get yourself more in line with the goodness that God has in mind already.
So if the boxer asks God to win the match for him, and then doesn't train, the prayer is worthless. But if he uses the prayer as a mental and spiritual exercise to give himself strength and concentration, it may help.

Partly that's a translation problem.
Generally, when the original Hebrew or Greek says we should "fear" God, in modern English it's better to say we should "be in awe of" God.
