I am a theist, what do you think of my proof for God existing?

The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

No, it's a vaild word, but one which I feel our friend heard somewhere and thought would add a veneer of verisimilitude to his credibility.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

1) Stand up straight
2) Close your eyes
3) Extend both your arms to your sides at right angles to your body.
4) Make fists of both your hands, then straighten out the index finger of your right hand.
5) While keeping your left arm extended, bend your right arm in such a way as the index finger of your right hand touches your nose. You're allowed to look if it is too hard.

By engaging in this experiment you have just helped me prove the existence of your nose scientifically.

Which denomination?
Tommy Hillfiger?
Vidal Sassoon?
The Church of God in Levis?

OK, your turn Mario, prove me wrong.

Edit: Oops, I almost forgot: god is man made. According to your words (and assuming your are human): "God in concept is first and foremost the creator and operator of the universe and man and everything with a beginning."

Sounds man made to me, not god made.

Now there is a concept of a god I can't find any issues with.  Let's go through each thing and see what is right or wrong with it.

God is magic - well, OBVIOUSLY!  I've never heard of a god playing D&D in his mom's basement.  I've never heard of a god doing anything "ordinary".  So this is pretty much standard for being "a god".

God is fantasy - that one is certainly undisprovable, the defacto standard for a particular god being real!  There is even plenty of evidence for it since there are thousands of god and each and every one seems to always agree EXACTLY with what his follower believes and desires to be true.

God is delusion - there certainly has been some proof of this.  Children dying because praying didn't cure simple diseases, snake handlers dying of snake bites, the Branch Davidians, Heaven's Gate...there is a rather long list of evidences to support this.

God is excuse - Jihad.  Enough said.

God is an escape - people use any given god to escape reality every day.  That is, unless you believe both that you will be reincarnated according to how good you are AND eventually also go to Heaven.  But then you still have to deal with all the people who believe only one of those things and not both.

God is manipulation - we covered that with the cults.

God is illogic - see the OP of this thread.

God is non-factual - ask anyone who believes in a god a really tough question and more likely than not they will have an answer, no matter what the question, no batter if they had never before considered it, no matter that their particular source of "knowledge" says nothing about the subject.  You know what that means?  THEY'RE MAKING IT UP!

God is untrue - again we have an undisprovable god-claim, and if you can't prove it wrong then it's right by default!  Then there is also this little thought; every claim ever made about a god at any point in time has either been A) not be proved to be true or B) proved to be not true.  It may be "undisprovable", but that doesn't mean there isn't evidence to support it.

God is anecdotal - I seem to remember a quote recently about "spiritual evidence" in place of, you know, ACTUAL evidence.  That pretty much sums this one up.

God is man made - nobody denies at least most gods are.  So, once again, every god for which there is total agreement is known to have been man made.  On top of that, most would agree that at least MOST gods are man made.  Many would agree that at least ALL BUT ONE god is man made, but they can't agree on which god isn't.  While not evidence of truth, it is pretty suggestive of truth.

So yeah, just tell me what religion you are and that's what I am from here on out (please be atheist, please be atheist, please be atheist...hey, nothing wrong with the god you choose agreeing with you 100%, right?)
Have you ever noticed all the drug commercials on TV lately?  Why is it the side effects never include penile enlargement or super powers?
Side effects may include super powers or enlarged penis which may become permanent with continued use.  Stop taking Killatol immediately and consult your doctor if you experience penis enlargement of more than 3 inches, laser vision, superhuman strength, invulnerability, the ability to explode heads with your mind or time travel.  Killatoll is not for everyone, especially those who already have convertibles or vehicles of ridiculous size to supplement penis size.

No, it's not an impasse. You cannot logic anything into existence, first off.

Secondly, I've got better things to do than bandy words with someone about their beliefs when their goal is "victory" rather than discussion ... especially when they will claim "victory" no matter what is said.

Thirdly, if your thoughts are robust, they'll stand up to a multiparty discussion with points coming from across the spectrum. You should perhaps ask yourself why you feel the need to restrict this discussion to one member alone.

Well, I for one will be holding my breath in anxious anticipation.

No, wait -- I won't.

Now go clean that bathroom, it's a bloody mess.
