When ever you find a good crew/ people who know what they do and work well with each other, a good business owner will mortgage his own house to carry a good crew in hopes of things getting better. Good help is almost impossible to find. So even now if I find a good worker I will hire him even if there is nothing for him to do at the moment. Because again I am looking to the future. With trump's efforts I have no issue going all in now so when the rest of my industry catches up and wants to start hiring my shop is already staffed, and we can hit the ground running when the orders start coming in.

I have worked in places where the same thing is true so I know this is not just me. Any skilled labor or any job where there is a shortage in Help or has a huge expected 'season' comming up will hire staff and keep them as long as they can.

The more people that come through the door, the more pressure there is for them to hire. WELL, guess who outnumbers who? WORKERS outnumber the business owners so they, not the business owner constitute the bulk of demand.
