Um no, standing up to a bully is not the same as being a bully. If  you pass laws advocating discrimination of minorities you are the bully. If you attach yourself to a demagogue that even REPUBLICAN Colin Powell has called racist and 50 REPUBLICAN law agents have called dangerous you cannot equate the words of those responding to the bully as being the bully. They didn't act like a bully or stand up to one, their statement was akin to asking Pence to be nice. Which might be a waste of time; as a Bible-thumper, he's pretty certain that he's already a nice person and the limiting of gay rights and promotion of the Christian religion at the expense of everything else are among the nicest things he can accomplish for all of us sinners.

To not pull the same shtick as he pulled in his state on a national level, that's what the cast said. The audience is another matter. They protested him. If that's PC - funny that PC only comes in when liberals or people not agreeing with anti LGBT and rightwing agendas act - is written on a different page. It was non violent in any case. Just making use of their freedom of expression in not agreeing with a certain public figure appearing and what they stand for.
