Lol. When it comes to Heaven, you have to actually be completely remorseful and have a complete change of heart. And of course Jesus knows our hearts and knows whether someone is truly and completely sorry for their wrong doings. Just saying the words doesn't count.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

In your opinion... actually there seem to be as many variations as to what the conditions are as there are believers, everything from once baptized = always saved to being under some sort of insane self contradictory thought police permanently.

It's not about thought police. If you could read someone's mind and you saw that they hate gay ppl and think gays should all die, for example, wouldn't you form an opinion/judgements about that person even if they had not actually killed any gay ppl? We can have hatred within us without ever actually acting on it. That doesn't mean it doesn't say something about the type of ppl we are.
