Nope, you said she was with you for 6 months. If it was god, why did this not happen 6 months earlier. This sounds like the result from 6 months of change.
Nope, the state put her in your care with help from your wife. god would have sent her in a basket floating down a river.
Its a sad day when people care more about an argument than one who has made such great strides.

According to the biblical record, god takes several hundred years to do things. Not what I'd call instant.
Was the god who put the woman in your care the same god who put those nine people down in South Carolina in the care of Dylan Roof? So god picks and choses who he wants to help. That doesn't prove anything and says nothing about the treatment of the majority of people.
You and mhbrewer don't exactly agree on how fast God can and does work. The ridiculous threads you have started in the past eliminates you from any kind of knowledge of God. Like I said to mhbrewer, its a sad day when you have greater satisfaction in an argument than the healing a young lady has experienced.

GC In other words, you have nothing legitimate to say.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

I've already said all I need to, I told of a young ladies good fortune and all you want to do is quibble. I have nothing further to say, the story I told was truthful and if you can't accept it I consider it your misfortune.

I disagree that god was involved but I think it is excellent that you took this woman into your home. Institutions can good or bad but no place like a decent home. Is she taking her meds?

Yes we make sure she takes her medication, see has other problems as well. Her medication for schizophrenia has been reduced and are working to get it reduced even further, her doctor has been impressed with her progress. Thank you for inquiring about her, she's like a daughter to me I'm so happy she is part of my life.

GC, YOU did a marvelous thing. Take credit for it man. God is irrelevant.
You can pray your ass off but if she stops taking the medication she's right back in the shitter.
It's like these morons who hit a home run and point to the sky when they cross the plate. You hit the ball, asshole. Not jesus.
Why are you so afraid of succeeding at something on your own without the help of your invisible friend in the sky?

GC Dose reductions of psychotropics are very beneficial until the minimal therapeutic dose is reached. These meds are truly great but as with all meds side effects can be nasty and cause patients to not take the drugs. In my particular role as an RN it is my job to ensure these dose reductions are attempted. A good doctor will do so routinely.

My wife is a nurse and she works toward the reduction of these medications. This lovely lady was born very premature and suffers from mental disabilities, her mental age runs between 4 and 11 depending on the situation. She would never remember to take her mess, my wife is diligent, as any good nurse would be, in seeing that see takes all her medicine.
My wife gives all the credit to God for her improvements, she understands we have been given the blessing of caring for her and considers it an honor.

(December 25, 2016 at 6:50 pm)Rhondazvous Wrote: The question occurred to me because I'm about to read Sybil.
whether Christian or Muslim. whether salvation by faith or works, the question comes up. One personality is Christian, one is Muslim, one has faith in Jesus, one is atheist, one does very good things to people and one does very bad things. If all these personalities exist in one body, how does a god decide whether to send them to heaven or hell?
If I were to answer this directly it would have me use terms I do not feel most of you could get past. So I will drop the formal terms used by the OP and the bible and compare definations, then draw a conclusion based on those terms.
In essence Multiple Personality Disorder is like having two or more separate or distinct beings living in one body. Now we should ask ourselves is there a biblical condition that is similar. Not going to use the term but the answer is yes. So then how does Christ deal with the people in those situations.
The long and short of it is the bible recognizes as the 'other personalities' as being separate beings. So Christ seperates them saving the host and punishing the beings tormenting the host.
