Good news

With all the testimony and evidence we had, I'm surprised we didn't get full custody. Rob's ex was told by the judge that she is not allowed to keep me from getting the kids if that's what Rob wants. She is to no longer be abusive towards us during communication. (We had 19 pages of texts and the judge read most of it and told her that the ignorant remarks about me have to stop.)
She was told to get over the fact that I am with Rob. She was warned about not telling Rob about appointments and was told that if I need to take the kids to an appointment, I can do so. She was told the boys are allowed contact with Rob's mom even when they are not with us. Rob gets two continual weeks in the summer to send the boys to his mother who, lives 700 miles away. She was told that she has to make sure all doctors and both schools have Rob listed as the second contact and they are to know that both Rob and his ex are to be contacted at the same time, including during emergencies and that I am to be listed as an emergency contact as well. We will get the court order in the mail, which will have all the details. The boys will be happy

Not perfect, but great! The boys do need to keep some contact with their own mom, of course. Courts are always a bit iffy about keeping children away from their mom. All those things that the judge said... How can they be enforced? RE: Good news

Because she will monitor things and we can always report back to her, any evidence we have of wrong doing
