I find the idea that consent is required from a sky fairy as well as the adults involved to be pretty hilarious.
It's also painfully funny when bigots try and wheel out some science to try and rationalize their hangups. Now, if it was just a case of the Christian church offering general advice, such as, "We feel anal sex is a bad idea because of the following reasons... [a load of science/biology stuff]”, I'd be fine with that. It may be stupid or inaccurate advice, but they would at least be trying to protect people in their own way. But that's not what's happening, is it? The more extreme people want to be able to rule over other people's sex lives, to ostracize, punish and humiliate anyone who doesn't follow their rules. I appreciate there are many moderate Christians these days who just don't go in for that level of bigotry, and find ways to tune out any parts of the bible/dogma which support it. Good on you guys. In this case, for man/woman anal, there's nothing to even worry about. It's just bigots who started out with religious righteousness and have overextended into areas they clearly don't understand... (pun intended). If you want to be a part of a group that has rules about sex or relationships or whatever, that is fine. It's your choice to be in it. But please don't think that these rules apply to everyone else as well, because they don't, and they shouldn't. If there are genuinely good reasons for not doing something, (a) religious preaching should not be required to make the case, and (b) if it's not hurting anyone except consenting parties, some friendly advice on why you think it's undesirable is action enough. and if you think some of your rules should apply to everyone else, some of us in that group are going to push for you to be following ALL of your rules, not just the ones you like, we want to see you follow ALL the rules that your God imposed on you because, hey, why would your god give you a pass on any of it, and if He won't, don't expect us to either
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Jesus is like Pinocchio. He's the bastard son of a carpenter. And a liar. And he wishes he was real.
Then suddenly it's oppression, right? Just because I'm stoning a few people to death for some minor infraction.

Okay, it's just...
Who cares if it's "against nature"? What does that even matter? Almost everything humans do is against nature. Why are we trying to model ourselves on other species? Nature also implies (unguided) evolution, not magically directed processes. If it's meant to be against "our nature", then clearly it isn't, because some people want to do it. If God didn't want us to want to do it, he shouldn't have made us want to. Pretty simple. And who cares if it's against God? Fuck him. Does it hurt his feelings? I don't much care what his opinion is on things. He can come down and make an argument like everyone else. Or just stop us doing it altogether. The fact that he doesn't reads to me like he's cool with it. Feel free to send me a private message.

I checked three different translations and none of them said what was quoted. For people who claim to be logical you'll allow yourselves to be taken in by the ones who profess to be like you. You don't check, just jump in with both feet, where oh where is that coveted logic, seems common sense would be a better companion. The KJV hasn't been up dated with the new knowledge we have of the ancient Hebrew and Greek languages. The three I used are some of the best translation from the ancient languages. Update yourself, come into the modern times with the rest of us. GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
