I was starting to wonder if he'd ever try again. Hi PGJ.

My answer was thoughtful. I could have gone on and on about God as a metaphor, etc., but I reduced such assurance to its simplest form.

Any thoughtful answer apart from jokes?

How dare you suggest that I speak in jest, Mortal!
If you weren't new to these forums, I would surely smite thee.

You doubt? Very well. I shall take my leave of this thread.
Carry on, then!

Well, certainly not enough to know not to leave an obvious trail across different forums.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Hmmm no. Alexander the Great was considered a god and yet he didn't do that. Or Ramses 2nd. And really what is definition of God? Must god have some sort of superpowers like flying or walking trough walls to be considered God? Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda claimed to be the Jesus, and the people who fill his church seem to believed him. Most Christians would reject his claim, of course, but based on what? If ancient Macedonians and Greeks said Alexander was a god, then who are we to say otherwise?

I'm offended, socky.

How dare you compare me to a mere god??

For one thing, I exist.

PGJ is probably scratching his head and wondering how we figured out so quickly who he was. When I saw the thread title I knew that it was him as a sock.

I'm going to do something a little naughty now and say something that he will really hate but won't be able to reply to. Because he's banned.

What, exactly, is a "sock"?

Sockpuppet; correctly, the term for an alter-ego account used to show support for a person's primary one, but in AF terms usually a banned user trying to sneak back in.
