What if Trump dies in office?

A collective sigh of relief I imagine.

Even if you somehow manage to take Pence out of the equation. There's no redeeming factor in this whole administration. I always forget what the line of succession is, but I seem to remember that the next in line would be foreign secretary. An oil man, purely corporate money grabber.

I totally agree with Secular Elf. They are not trying to convince Americans, they just want to control Americans. America is the only modern country in the world where a large portion believe in the bible as literal true and evolution as "just a theory"

Does anyone have any thoughts on Pence calling for a Constitutional Convention? The GOP has the numbers and they could do it under the guise of "reigning in government spending" Just read this

I also find it interesting that the conservatives are cleaning house when it comes to the more repugnant aspects, like Richard Spencer. All of sudden, they find him repugnant. Where were they for the past 8 years of race baiting?

Trump is dangerous also because he can motivate them to action

Pence has connections but even more rivalries and burnt bridges

This is where you're wrong. Trump is an out of control Frankenstein monster that the GOP thought would sideline them for a general election. That is why they were focusing on their years of HRC attacks and not even talking about Trump as a likely winner. Pence on the other hand, can play the GOP game as smoothly as the rest of them.

I think Secretary of State is like 4th or 5th. Paul Ryan is number 3 after Pence. IMO, I would take Rex Tillerson over all of them. He is an actual businessman and not a professional name brand like Trump.

My biggest fear is that RBG dies before the next election.

Yes I know most Americans don't speak English (just kidding). But in all seriousness plenty have spoken that way and have failed. The thing with Trump was the way he said it. A way I don't think Pence can.

That's just it Trump isn't playing the game that's why he won. And it's the game itself that has been fucking the republicans over all these years .So even if  Pence can play .The game itself is fail. But as I have said I don't think he's that great a player and will become a tool for players .

It's worrisome it's being called for because we know properly translated this is an attempt to crush minorities and the poor under foot.

Do you see how Pence could be more dangerous than Trump in that regard? Trump doesn't even know how the amendment process works. Pence just needs to convince all the GOP state legislatures and 2 of the splits to call for a convention. Then when there is a convention it doesn't matter how much the average citizen loves him, its just about the GOP having a huge majority to amend the constitution as they see fit. Trump doesn't have the ability to lead that kind of charge, Pence does

I never said ideologically he wasn't more dangerous . Does he know how the process works yes . But all I said before about GOP still stands. And thou he has the knowledge I don't think he can lead the charge.
