Facts yog not speculations.
It is a fact that a dead brain is unable to come up with anything at all especially an experience that is clear, sharp and vivid therefore only a consciousness that separate from a dead body-brain can do this.

No, that's a speculation that you pulled from your ass. We've already been through the clear and sharp nonsense, you just don't learn. Ketamine and G-LOC, you ass.

You've got nothing but bare assertions that you pulled from nowhere. Those aren't facts just because you claim they are.

Atheism is simply the absence of a belief in any deity, so saying it will be a laughing stock is far fetched.

Atheists surely do not believe in any deity but at the same time they do believe in a myriad of dogmas.
The consciousness is a product of the brain..........with the physical death is all over.......we got this
consciousness thanks to the evolution of the species..........blah.......blah.......blah.......

Quote:Science has progressed farther and farther away from religion, as God's existence cannot be demonstrated and the theist model is contradicted by science.

Forget about the religion which I am not interested in and rather tell me about the story that science contradict God existence.
That is something new to me.  I'm all ears!

Quote:Oh by the way considering that you just mention neuroscience did you know that a neurosurgeon by the name of Eben Alexander did have an NDE and now cast apart all his previous non beliefs in God Lightbulb

Quote:His thesis was that his consciousness left the body, but the likely possibility that the NDE occurred as he was surfacing from the coma and a cortex becoming functional again is denied by him, which is actually more likely, as was explained by Oliver Sacks.
Scientific studies have demonstrated that by stimulating certain areas of the brain, relatable hallucinations can result.

Don't be ridiculous Atheo.
What about the thousand of other NDEs?
Were their dead brain stimulated?
How the hell can you stimulate a dead brain?
So now some idiot come up with the idea that Eben had an NDE because of a coma.
The idiot that came up with this garbage contradict himself.
He should have said that all those who had an NDE had a coma but even in this case he would have
been a double idiot as the NDEs come after a dead brain.

Quote:Science can not understand consciousness.
Consciousness can not be seen nor touch nor smell yet some fool folks think that it can be understood by science.
Crazy, absolutely crazy.  Banghead

Quote:And when science one day finds a universal explanation, then what? You would have to revise your views or you would just dogmatically dismiss it. I hope you will choose whats right.

What science will come up with is how the system works which is that the consciousness
separate from the dead body.
That's all mate.  Smile

Imbecil.......e.  Banging Head On Desk

As you can have a blissful vision with drugs you can also have with G-LOC or with other stimulation.
That is not the point yog.
You also can ejaculate by masturbation instead of making love but NDEs are different.
They come once the body-brain die and the consciousness separate from the dead body.
These are real experiences with God not masturbation.

No one with a 'dead brain' has ever reported an NDE. No dead person has ever had an NDE. There is no connection whatsoever between being dead and having an NDE.

There is not one explanation in science that involves any god, no god in a test tube. The past christian church once believed that the earth was central to the universe (including geocentric universe) and that the earth was about 6000 years old, it turns out that this wasn't true and lost to science. The current understanding shows humans to be insignificant and no evidence of a universe geared to us.

Again, the science is pretty consistent behind it, more NDEs occurring doesn't provide any more evidence for a soul. Just accept it, the soul is religious dogma, nothing more.

The NDE (near death experiences) experiences didn't occur with dead brains, no evidence to suggest that.

Not an idiot, its logic and science. It always wins, your beliefs lose to logic again. Tongue

Neuroscience and the logic you talk about.

No matter how many times you repeat yourself, your dogmatic beliefs aren't going to get any more true. They will continue to remain in the realm of religion but loses to science and logic.

More bare assertion and pulling shit from your ass. You're an idiot without a fucking clue. You have no evidence that NDEs are different from these induced experiences. You just claim that they are without any backing. Your unsupported claims aren't worth shit.

RE: What is logic?
I consider logic to be the correct identification of "True" and "False"; the more you got a better sense of that, the more "logical" you are.

Take a missile. It's a collection of "true" and "false", from the material of building way to the fuel if uses to fly.

Logical minds will make logical missiles that fly right, hit right, explode/land right. If the logic went wrong by any builder, the missile end up falling Southeast Yemen instead of Siberia.

Programs that make up this page, and the browser me and you use, Chrome or EE, are codes full of True and False conditions. Imagining the right conditions and the flow of the information through it, is logic.

a person with bad logic, will not write original code. They will either copy successful others, or declare their defeat and live like savages, purchasing their rockets and cars from others.

So you reckon that the doctors that did declared a person dead were all drunk when the ascertained that the bloke was really dead?

Did you just wake up Bor?  Smile

It is a fact that atheists load their mind with a myriad of dogmas such as those that I previously mention.

So your evidence that science deny God vanished into nothingness.  Wink

At the same time science DOES NOT provide evidence against so why don't you stop mention science
when in fact science know nothing about soul or NDEs?  Lightbulb

Quote:Were their dead brain stimulated?

Wrong once again Atheo.
Evidence is there At.
Doctors declared a person 100% dead so a dead brain can possibly come up with an NDE.

The idiot that came up with this garbage contradict himself.

How the physical science win when dealing with something totally outside her competence such as the
consciousness and the NDEs experiences?
It is like to say that a carpenter is better than an electrician in fixing electrical wiring.
Are you that fool to not understand about competencies?  Smile

Son.  Hi

Stop the garbage and rather try to understand what the word competencies means.  Lightbulb

Have a good day mate.  Shy

You are so stupid that you don't even deserve a reply but LR is very very patient so he will have to put up with your crap once again.  Panic  Bird  Panic

Induced experiences work on the pineal gland forcing this gland to open up and allow a blissful feeling.
In this case the consciousness does not leave the pineal gland or the body or the brain.
NDEs on the other hand are a natural phenomenon.
As soon as the body-brain die the consciousness that lie in the pineal gland separate from the dead body.
The two things have similarities in the fact that both affect the consciousness but all the rest is totally different.

Now please go back to sleep.  Smile

This is nothing but religious dogma. You have no scientific backing for these speculations. In other words, this is all bullshit.

Nobody knows the exact role of the pineal gland in brain function and certainly not you.

Exactly. As an aside, I think the common conception of NDEs is far too limited. When your wife catches you in bed with her sister and she shoots at you just as you're diving naked through the open window and the bullet hitting the window frame two inches from your skull causes you to shit yourself, that's also an NDE, but no one ever includes that in the set of 'things experienced when you're nearly dead'.
