At least the Knight of the Rueful Countenance did it with style and panache.  Val -- not so much, although he seems to share with Don Quixote a profound antipathy towards reality.

You said "I withhold belief in gods until there is sufficient evidence to support belief".
If you look around and see so many complex living beings, and you still need proof that it was designed by a Supreme Being?
Simple bad example would be a car.If you look at one you know he had to be made by somebody with intelligence.
Regarding God: Just because you cannot prove something exists does not mean it doesn't  exist.

Holy crap!

I can't believe I missed this!

How many strawmen is one small space?

Complex things?  You mean the things that have evolved over hundreds of millions, if not billions, of years?  The lifeforms that exist now, while billions of other species are now extinct?

And, once again, if these creature were designed by a supreme being, why are so many of the earlier species now extinct?  Surely they would have been designed perfectly in the first place?  Let's not even go into the flaws in the basic "design" of humans.

And the watchmaker fallacy?  Really?

You do know that living creatures, biological creatures change (evolve) over time, right?  Parents mate and give birth to young that combine the DNA of both parents?

Cars are not organic, biological creatures.  They're tools produced by flawed humans.  And, as such, they are flawed themselves.

Using your "logic" regarding "god", if I can't disprove the existence of Cyril, the Space Wombat, then he must exist in some form until he IS disproved.

I love the desperation of theists and creationists.

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

No, I require compelling evidence that there even is a supreme being. Show me that there's a 'there' there before we go running off into cloud cuckoo land.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

How dare you?

Who are YOU to question the supreme being of the multiverse??

We are all just bugs to "god" (and possibly Cyril) and we can't understand his (their?) reasons for doing anything.  Even if he (they?) explained it to us we don't have the intelligence to understand.

Just accept everything on faith and he (they) will look after you!!

(I had to put in a number of brackets since I don't want to piss off Cyril by ignoring HIM).

How many cars has god created? We already know how many gods man has created.
Truth and Belief are mutually exclusive.
