Open ended question: I was wondering what people think should be done about North Korea? By the United States or the International community.

What to do about North Korea?

Pressure China into actually doing something about them.
Unilateral action will just draw China into the conflict. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"
Nuke from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Flood the country with heroin.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

The PRC must be encouraged to rein in that little fucker even if that means turning a blind eye to their expansion into the North China Sea. (April 3, 2017 at 9:24 pm)vorlon13 Wrote: NK or China ? Why not both? Isn't China the main source of carfentanil now?

China protects North Korea because china feels weaker than and vulnerable to the US in China's own backyard, and need North Korea as a leverage and buffer. Chinese public generally knows this.
Therefore trump's chest thumping will have precisely the opposite effect by making the Chinese public feel the case for protecting North Korea is all the stronger. The chest thumping is, almost unbelievably, even more stupid then that, because the threat is completely hollow, and the Chinese, and the South Koreans, to say nothing of the North Koreans, knows this far better than trump. This is no tribute to them because everyone who is anyone knows any and everything far better than trump. |
