We have no responsibility for anything at that rate. If a court of law can hold you responsible for your actions then ultimate moral responsibility is also yours.

Legally responsible and morally responsible are different. If I am not ultimately responsible in choice then I can't be morally. Because "ought" implies "can".

You ought not to steal and you don't because you can stop yourself. It's morally wrong to steal which is why you ought not do it.

Call me crazy, but I voted yes.
Why was I born where I was?
You can argue that it was sheer luck, but it believe it was fate...
Why did I meet certain people?
You can again say its luck but I dont know, perhaps its fate?
Its ok to have doubt, just dont let that doubt become the answers.

You dont hate God, you hate the church game.

Why would it be fate?

No that does not logically follow at all. The fact society rightly holds people responsible (to at least some extent) does not mean that we are ultimately responsible. We can't be ultimately responsible because we're not ultimately free, and so we can't be ultimately morally responsible either.

Define fate. My conception of it is exactly the same as determinism.

Since i'm very much a determinist on relativistic scales i would vote YES.
