Can someone help me buy a DSLR?

The only photographs I've taken were from my phone but I really love taking photographs (got one of my photos featured in a magazine which was pretty awesome ^×^)

I want to buy a DSLR but I don't want it to be too basic, I don't want it to be too professional either. I have no experience with an actual camera. I don't know anything about the manual settings. Any sort of help is appreciated.

I've heard great things about the Nikon D900 - I'm far from an expert in the area but maybe look that up, might be a good place to start looking.

read the specs it's wayyy too advanced for me Sad that camera is like at a 8 or 9 and I'm at like maybe a 2
