For one of my college classes, I need to interview various people regarding their beliefs for creationism or evolution. I would very much appreciate whatever answer you can give me!

These are the questions:

1) How long were the days of Genesis 1 and why do you think so?
2) How old is the earth and why do you think so?
3) Do humans and apes share common ancestors and why do you think so?
4) Was Adam of Genesis 2 a real historical person and why do you think so?

Thank you so much for your time!

1. What sort of college makes you ask these questions?

2. How would you answer them?

3. Why is there even a debate on this subject?

4. What is a scientific theory (in your words)?

I mean, if this is legitimately for a college class that wants you to interview people, posting a list of questions on a random forum to get anonymous responses isn't really the best way to do that.

Depending on the college, I'd believe it.  Though if I was a professor and had an adult who turned a paper in with their sources being "some random people on the internet," I doubt I'd be super pleased.

Maybe the prof wants limited exposure to heathens. Can't take the chance of to much "dark side" influence.

But how can the prof be sure we're actual, grade-A heathens?  We might be some shoddy knock-off lutherans or something.

And this crap, right here, is why we aren't as advanced in science and technology as we could be. Brainwashing at it's best.
