Number of deaths sort of work against the viciousness of torture. Viciousness of totuure requires commitment of attention, effort and resource to the individual victim; while maximizing number of death requires economizing on individual attention, effort and resource per death.
No, water boarding is the equivalent of bopping with a feather pillow next to some of the tortures invented in history. Even Crucifixion is hardly more than a slap on the wrist. Persians would execute high ranking officials who committed treason by literally letting maggots that grew out of the victim's feces eat the victim alive over several weeks.

Not to mention letting the devil run free is a callous act on his part, and not preventing the devil's shenanigans or getting rid of him is a lack of power. So you've either got an uncaring cocksucker or an impotent fucknut. No other alternative.

Also Jesus seems to be very negative person. I mean I always hear it in those "born again" christian personal stories of those people that spent childhood in christian settings and then, as they grow up, they saw it was crap and moved away until one day all that shit from childhood comes back and suddenly they realize that they are piece of shit human beings and that Jesus loves them, in spite of them being such "terrible" persons. I mean I literally heard stories like "I was masturbating and then I started to pray and realized Jesus loves me in spite of me having sexual thoughts.", but most stories aren't that detailed. So in other words they are brainwashed by so called Christian "values" to think they are no better then a bag of shit and only Jesus is the cure that they can bare living with themselves.
