The undeniable miracle at Fatima
RE: The undeniable miracle at Fatima
The Ganges? Drink two teaspoonfuls of that and all your ailments will be gone, for ever! You be dead.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

But supposedly according to the Hindu's it cured people hell even revived people. As far as I'm concerned it's just as likely as the sun dancing around .

One of my favorites is a book called "Possessed" which tells the true story of a boy who was possessed by the demons. It took a whole group of Jesuit priests to exorcise him.

Oh, no...What did the book mean by "exorcise"? Dodgy

Exorcise is Latin for "give him a size 15 asshole."

But they claim that THEIR god performed the miracles.

Would you be open to that possibility? If so, what sort of evidence would you accept in order to believe their god performed the miracles?

And here I am, completely outside ALL religious beliefs, trying to figure out a way for Christians to differentiate their god's miracles, from those of Muslims, Hindus, etc, etc. And all I am given is the same sorts of evidence from all religions for the miracle claims. Bad anecdotal evidence.

The miracles were performed by the Devil to deceive the non-Elect.; of course, which "non-Elect" is the question at hand, setting aside lack of evidence, plausible naturalistic explanations, etc.

Yep.

The miracle of the Sun was performed by Iblis (Islam version of Satan) to deceive Christians.

Seems like he did a pretty good job.

I guess I'll be seeing a whole bunch of Christians in Jahannam (Islam version of hell), since we have both been deceived.

I'll waive to you Catholic Lady and pabsta! Smile

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

CL, as per my quantum consciousness thread, I'm now on your side!

Guys, people who are exorcised are just normal everyday people whose quantum entangled state has been broken (by sneezing I think), and have become a quantum orphaned zombie.
By exorcising them, you just shake a new particle into place to create a fresh entangled pair and the host's consciousness is in sync with the universe again.

easy peasy! Big Grin

I can just picture you guys having temper tantrums on the floor after reading this -- that is if you even dare to open it. Next you'll probably attack the author, or tell us the book was never written and was completely fabricated by someone. Keep dreaming guys.

And whoever asks for "more testimonials" - give me a break, like that is going to matter. If I gave you 10, you would ask for 20. If I gave you 100, you would say that's not good enough and that you need 200. I'm not wasting my time jumping through hoops for you. The book has plenty to get the point across. One way or the other I'm sure you will find a way to disregard the entire book so you can remain ticked off at the world.

Ya gotta love the sudden lack of answers after I posted this book. Plenty of vulgarities and insults, but otherwise that deer in the headlights look from everyone. And as I predicted, attacks on the author and his research. That says it all. Newspaper reports: DENIED. Testimonials: DENIED. Research by the Catholic Church: DENIED. Further research by the author: DENIED. Now you can all live with a peaceful conscience right?

Debating with you guys is like shooting fish in a barrel. Actually debates never even get off the ground because all you do is cuss people out when faced with the obvious. And overwhelming the discussion with 50 messages per hour has not helped your position at all - it's a well known tactic that gives you all a false feeling of being in the right. You've lost the battle big time.

It's been fun guys and gals!

Does this mean that you're going back to the hole in the ground from where you came?
Good riddance!

Maybe he's being raptured?

That would be the one good thing to come out of such an absurd belief.
