DUH but so what, it still wont matter who shoots off a nuke first, friend or foe, that has a very good likelihood of causing a domino effect. Of course it is blackmail. NK is blackmailing even China, this is no secret. But so what. This isn't about just the Kim family or Trump for that matter. This is ultimately about preventing that domino effect.

Neither China or South Korea would be happy, not just on the refugee problem it would cause, but the nuclear waste that would be polluting the ground and air thus food sources.
I get so fucking tired of the gung ho crap always ready to start a war with someone. We really don't live in an age of expansion anymore and on top of that both friend and foe have nukes. So far, since WW2 we as a species have been lucky enough that cooler heads on all sides prevailed with the issue of nukes.
This is the shit the far right never considers with nukes. If you have a global nuclear war nobody wins, even if they survive, the mass disruption of communication, disruption of utilities such as water and electricity, and the pollution the radiation would cause for hundreds of years if not more. Any survivors of such would still be dealing with that. And if that much disruption gets caused by a global nuclear war, you wont have to worry about some overseas enemy killing you, you'd literally have to worry about your neighbors.
NOBODY wins in a global nuclear war. AND AGAIN both JFK and Reagan understood this. I don't think 45 does.

This is the almost inevitable outcome of using an excuse to invade Iraq to topple saddam Hussain, and letting kadafi be hunted down and killed like a dog after he renounced his nukes.

The issue at hand between 45 and Un are nukes, not ground wars. Bad excuses for ground wars are a different topic. Our species can survive ground wars without nukes, our species can get wiped out by a global nuclear war.
I don't want another ground war or a nuclear war. We cannot help what Un does, we can only react. How we react matters.

He's not insane; he knows that a first strike against the US would result in the utter destruction of his country, family and people. He wants "the big one", because he wants a seat at "the big table". Without nuclear weapons and a launch capability, North Korea is just a puny 3rd/4th world country whom the West can ignore.
