A Montgomery woman accused of trying to kill her three children told police she was sending her daughters to meet Jesus Christ.

The children were dressed all in white when Montgomery police arrived at the family’s Patron Lane home at around 10: 20 a.m. Sept. 25, after dispatchers received two hang-up 911 calls.

When they arrived, police said Pamela Christensen, 47, answered the door wearing a white shirt covered in blood. She got down on her knees before police and told them she had tried to kill her children.

The girls were upstairs, and two had suffered stab wounds to the chest.

According to Kendall County Court records, Christensen had also stabbed herself in the chest and abdomen.

In an affidavit to secure a search warrant for the family’s home, police said Christensen told officers that she was sending the girls home to “meet Jesus Christ.”

A 30-year-old Kentucky man who claimed to be a youth pastor is facing charges that he sexually abused a 16-year-old boy, and then threatened to kill him with witchcraft if he told.

The Commonwealth Journal reported that a 16-year-old male told Eubank Police investigators that Polly Ann Church of God youth pastor Rex Allen Murphy made sexual contact with him. The abuse allegedly happened at the church and at the suspect’s home for a period of at least 6 months.

This is exactly the kind of shit I want to see brought to courts so people can see the absurdity, because thanks to the RFRA and the Hobby Lobby decisions, the law literally says any sort of religious belief (whether based on a book or theology or personal philosophy or anything, even if you're the only one that believes it) can be brought as a legitimate exception to a law, as it infringes on their religious freedom.

Let this guy get all the press he wants and maybe the SCOTUS will finally pull its head out of its collective ass.

News 8 contacted 15 chapels inquiring about their same sex wedding policies, with several of them stating that they would refuse to perform the ceremony.

An employee of the Elvis Wedding Chapel, which also offers non-Elvis weddings, refused to answer questions when confronted by cameras, saying “I’m not going to tell you. It’s just — there is no story here,” from behind a door.

Vegas Wed Chapel owner Dolly Deleon, saying she’s a born-again believer in Jesus, stated she wouldn’t permit a same sex marriage in her chapel due to her faith.

“My faith won’t allow me,” Deleon said.
