Not really. They never intended a first strike in the first place, just to show an increasingly belligerent US* that they now had nukes and could deliver them a serious distance, to Guam, say. Once that was done, there really was no point stoking the flames further.

Precisely.

It takes a considerable amount of willful stupidity to think this was ever anything else. So of course Trump's slack-jawed supporters will clap and bark on cue, as the Great Leader pats himself on the back for forcing Kim to do what he was always going to do anyway.  Dodgy

We're pretty good when we attack people who can't fight back.  Grenada.  Panama.

If SunTzu is alive, he wouldn't need to write his art of war, he only needs to point to the US and say "don't be like them", and he would encapsulated everything he said in his master work.

I gotta say, some of you guys seem really shortsighted to me. The problem isn't that Kim is going to drop a couple duds in the water of Guam. That was never the threat. The reason that was a threat is because it shows they have the control to do that.

The real threat is that they WILL have nuclear bombs, and these bombs WILL be able to reach the continental United States, including Washington, in maybe a couple of years.

A little less USA, USA and gloating, and a little more legitimate worry, might serve you better methinks.

Great! Now Guam can dedicate on battling the real monster:

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Doesn't surprise me.

Maybe.  But his teeth are growing, and fast.  Why play the Boy Who Cried Wolf, when one day a megaton wolf may show up?

Trump or Kim?

No matter, if one is led by a panty sniffer, it softens the blow of being outmaneuvered by another panty sniffer.

Lol I was talking about Kim but Trump probably has some weird kinks too.

I'm not sure why, but I always think of Asians as being kinky. Especially a weirdo like Kim.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Kink is not a race, it is a personal individual thing and "kink" is in every nation to some degree.

Now as far as the abuse of power, that is really the issue.

Did Trump really have prosties pee on him or was that an unsubstantiated rumor? Fetishes intrigue me.

I dunno, why don't you take it up with someone who, you know, actually cried wolf?
