The Egyptian parliament has banned journalists from discussing Islam in mass media after a journalist called prophet Muhammad's night journey a completely delusional story in which Muhammad used a flying donkey to meet Allah in the 7th sky.

A 21-year-old teacher in Pakistan was stabbed to death by her colleagues who accused her of blasphemy

Iran bars women from attending soccer match in Mashdad
Iran has once again denied women entry to a soccer stadium to watch an international match, leaving hundreds of ticketed fans locked out, Iranian media says.
“About 2,000 Iranian women, who had bought tickets for the Iran-Lebanon match, were present in the perimeter of Imam Reza stadium, but could not enter the stadium,” ISNA news agency says.

Algerian author Said Djabelkhir sentenced to three years in jail for offending Islam
Mr Djabelkhir had said the animal sacrifice during the Muslim festival of Eid was based on a pre-Islamic pagan ritual.
He also suggested that parts of the Quran, such as the story of Noah's Ark, might not be literally true and criticised practices including the marriage of young girls in some Muslim societies.
