I do. I've certainly called him out before when I thought he was being unfair with people.
I don't need you to stand up for me if he treats me wrong, nor do I need you to chastise me for returning to him what he deals out to me.
See both sides or not, that's your choice, but if you're gonna involve yourself without seeing both sides you'd best not do it on my back.
Thanks in advance.

Another thing. This:
This came before your examples. Heh. He called religion into this. He said he was being criticized when he has not, for being a theist, whe someone pointed out the difference in the terms he used in the OP.
Never the less, after that and I urge you to re read the thread, its obvious that instead of adressing the difference between the title and what the news say, I would've accept if Neo realized his mistake. Instead of pulling the persecuted christian in here.
Actually that came after Thump's condescending comment about having "learned something new" and after Min called him a religetard.
So, to your earlier claim accusing Neo of bringing religion into this, actually, Min was the first one to have brought it up.
"fine, whatever"?? Oh, it was after Lutrinae. Infallible men of god don't make mistakes nor can be corrected.
At least now we know the title doesn't match the content. And that the OP is so full of himself to acknoledge correction.
He walked right into that hole, I yawn. You are trying to defend... someone that needs to be able to defend himself.

I'm not sure what you mean about seeing both sides. It's not like I only read his posts. I read all the posts on this thread, saw something that seemed off, and commented on it. If it had been the other way around, I would have done the same thing.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

The only thing that became off in this thread is the arrival of your thread policing.

"Fine whatever" was after Lutriane. But the other post you were referring to that you seemed to have the big problem with, this post:

...did not. It came after Min's and Thump's post. After Min had brought religion into it by calling him a religitard.

For Christ's sake, just send me some addresses. I'll buy hairshirts for all the theists who are feeling persecuted lately. Then we can all be happy.

I came in here and made one comment, and that was that you guys were proving Neo's point. My subsequent comments after that have been responses to you guys about it.

Neo thought he had a point. He didn't. I would rather hear from him, however, if he wishes to explain something from his own thought processes regarding how "fine, whatever" is a better statement than admitting he was wrong about how he personally interpreted the two states mentioned in my post.
I am not going to police the thoughts of others in this thread, they are allowed to state whatever they want as far as I am concerned. Even you are allowed your intrusive opinion acting on Neo's behalf as though he doesn't have a mind or will of his own in order to better explain himself. If I was Neo, however, I'd be the insulted one, but I'm not him.
I would be willing to discuss the actual content of the article mentioned in the original post. Heck, I even looked at and read the article, which was what made me realize the article mentioned "vegetative state" rather than "brain dead" as put forth by the thread title, and that was the entire reason I posted what I did.

Yes, let's discuss the content lol.
I think it's great. Like Neo said, it's a baby step, but a baby step in the right direction. I just wonder if this somehow gives more false hope to those who have a loved one in a vegetable state, considering it will probably be a very long time until it can be applied successfully. Sometimes closure is better than the emotional roller coaster of holding on to hope....
