My mother and parents-in-law were all staunch Catholics, and Democrat voters all.

A Minnesota priest Pope Francis had recently tapped as bishop for the Duluth, Minn., diocese has resigned over allegations of sexual abuse of a minor.

I went to go visit family a few weeks ago, saw a church donation envelope sitting on my uncle's table and brought up this exact issue to him. I asked him why he would ever donate to such a sick organization. He got mad and tried to turn it on me, again I stated to him, just think about who you are donating to, he had no response.

I just can't believe people of any faith good still be a person of faith after reading this horrible stories of what happened to people who are victims.

"It's just a few" is what I hear most often.

Yes, it's always ignoring or justifying from the believers, they never think the whole problem in general is religion. I always ask them, even my mother sees this, I ask 'what has the church done or will do for you if you need help, absolutely nothing.Just taking money and time from people.' I get no response, when I say that, because its true.
