It rather seems to me that the Catholic Church is using Freemasons as the main villains whom they love to hate now that they are not allowed to hate Jews anymore.

After all, you can't deny that it is normal to hate Freemasons and believe in all the conspiracy theories about them just like it is with Satanists.

And to blame Freemasons for controlling society from the shadows when you have the Catholic Church that is spending millions of dollars to enforce laws that no one wants and is putting supreme judges to serve the whims of a pack of robed pedos is something.

The latest Catholic priest scandal involves a high-ranking Milwaukee pastor in a long-term gay partnership. They ousted the priest because he lives with his gay lover.

Fr. Mark Payne, of St. Monica in Whitefish Bay and St. Eugene in Fox Point, was put on administrative leave Friday because of publicity from a story published the day before by The Pillar, a national website focusing on the information about the Catholic Church.

The website said Payne has owned a condo with a man since 2003, that the man had depicted them as a couple on social media posts, and that the man had been hired temporarily last year to teach theology at St. Monica's School. Catholic priests take a vow of celibacy, a tradition dating back to the Middle Ages.

"The Archdiocese had been made aware of concerns that were noted in the news story," the email from Reeseman said. "Father was told his hiring of the grade school teacher was not appropriate. Father Payne assured us that he is faithful to his priestly vows and that the information painted a misleading picture of the situation. We offered him the opportunity to clear up any possible misunderstandings before taking the step of initiating a formal investigation.”

FBI exhumes body of Joyce Malecki, whose killing was investigated in ‘The Keepers’

People have long speculated about a possible link between the killings of Malecki and Sister Cathy Cesnik, a teacher at Archbishop Keough High School. Cesnik disappeared four days before Malecki and her body was found in January 1970 in a wooded area.

The 2017 Netflix documentary “The Keepers” delved into both killings and allegations of horrific sexual abuse at the now-shuttered all-girls Catholic high school. Numerous women who attended Keough in the late 1960s and early 1970s say that they were raped by two faculty members, the Rev. Neil Magnus and the Rev. A. Joseph Maskell.

Keough alumni say that the priests, who have both since died, targeted vulnerable girls based on their disclosures in the confessional, then brought them into their private offices for supposed counseling sessions, where they were drugged, sexually assaulted and raped.

According to the Maryland Office of the Attorney General’s massive report on the sexual abuse of minors in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, 39 women and men have accused Maskell of sexual abuse, both at Keough and other schools and parishes where he worked.

“The Keepers” explored the theory that Cesnik was killed because girls had confided to her that they were being abused at school. An arrest has not been made in Cesnik’s case.

I mean, I understand religion is supposed to be like the opposite of spiritual anarchy.
But if people can just do whatever they want and not be punished for it, what is the need for religion?
I had a friend, several years ago, who told me he would let me kick him in the nuts if he cheated on his girlfriend.
Well, he cheated on his girlfriend. And he told me about it. So I kicked him in the nuts.
He said he was glad I did that because he "felt like he was accountable".
Maybe something similar should happen to people who insist on being religious.

Homophobia is one of the main reasons why sheep are leaving the Catholic Church, so what the church are trying to do is have their cake and eat it too. And they usually do it by having the pope say something as a sideshow for these cafeteria Catholics so that they get the impression that the Church is changing.

Pope Francis’s gay-friendly comments don’t match the Catholic Church’s actual policies

Pope Francis’s latest comments on gay people have triggered yet another round of coverage about how gay-friendly this pope is. But as welcoming as Francis’s latest comments are, they’re being graded on a weighted scale — one that still allows a lot of homophobia.

In his latest remarks, Francis said Christians and the Catholic Church should apologize to gay people and ask for forgiveness. He said, “We Christians have to apologize for so many things, not just for this [treatment of gays], but we must ask for forgiveness. … I think that the Church not only should apologize … to a gay person whom it offended, but it must also apologize to the poor as well, to the women who have been exploited, to children who have been exploited by [being forced to] work. It must apologize for having blessed so many weapons.”

This all certainly sounds nice. But as with other examples in which the media embraced Francis as unusually LGBTQ-friendly for a pope, Francis’s words are getting much, much more credit than his actions. Because as far as actions go, the Vatican is still anti-gay.

As William Saletan pointed out at Slate, this isn’t a radical departure from what's been the typical line of conservative Catholics for some time now: “Love the sinner, hate the sin.” Francis was saying that he won't “reject and condemn this person,” but that still leaves room for condemning the alleged sin of homosexuality itself.

And the Catholic Church has continued doing just that: The Church states that while gay people “must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity,” they are still “called to chastity” because “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.”

It's hard to think of any other leader who would be called progressive while holding Francis’s views. Imagine if Hillary Clinton tomorrow came out and said gay people shouldn’t be allowed to marry, and that gay people should be celibate. Would anyone consider her progressive? Of course not. She would likely be labeled an anti-gay bigot.

But the pope gets a pass on his anti-gay views, simply because, in comparison to his predecessors, his rhetoric is nicer. That may make him slightly progressive compared to some members of his church, but it's far from liberal on gay issues. And if evaluated fairly, the pope's positions are still highly regressive and condemnable among anyone who cares about gay rights.
