Nah they probably paid market value for his self esteem.  If they got a really young one they could put a little jockey suit on him and have him hold up a lantern.  Sick bastards would really enjoy that shit.

I don't really get it either.  Maybe it's just certain areas or something, but it seems like it would be easy for this to occur and to have nothing to do with racism.  I would give them the benefit of the doubt, that they didn't know or intend anything. 

Besides, some of those costumes where just horrible.   I bet their was  a fight for watermelon and pineapple costumes.
