Even if Trump is impeached, we get President Pence, who's just as bad. He just makes it sound prettier. Which may make him worse.
Still, would be nice to see Donny going to Jail. Along with his little brats, and most of his cabinet. Throw Pence in too for complicity, and most of the Republican party who let this sham go on for so long.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

On economics and local social issues sure. But you wont see him in office talking or tweeting like Trump, and as much as I hate Pence I don't see him as triggering a nuclear war. Pence may be an asshole bigot but he has a filter and I do think it would be far easier to keep him on a leash. Just to be annoyingly pedantic, if Trump is impeached, he won't necessarily be removed from office. An impeachment is simply a formal accusation of a crime committed, similar to an indictment. Trump would have to stand trial on the charges in the impeachment and be convicted before he could be booted. Boru

I think Pence would be utterly ineffective. It would be like the oval office being vacant until the next election. Not a good situation but he would be considerably less likely to use nuclear weapons haphazardly. He wouldn't empower the bigots and other idiots like Trump does and he wouldn't be as bad of an embarrassment to the rest of the world.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

But all I really want is for him for the investigation get too close to him, or his family to the point he cops out to some "health problem" and steps down. Nixon didn't spend a day in prison but what 45 has done is far worse, just on the rhetoric alone. 45 is really scummy. I would not surprise me one bit if he threw his children under the bus to keep his job.
