Really. I still go to Midnight Mass at Christmas if I'm in town, as the Latin version is what I grew up with and gives that mysterious aura over everything. Or maybe that's just the acid...

The entire stupid idea of that crap stems from those in antiquity not understanding physical and mental maladies as far as things like epilepsy and mental illness.
If you have a loved one who looks like they are not well, a doctor or psychiatrist will help them, not a priest.
