Odin starred in far more compelling stories than Jesus did. Plus there was that whole tree-hanging thing...

And he made a starring appearance in Gaiman's "American Gods" (which Jesus managed not to do), a helluva good book.

And he made it onto that great cartoon from my childhood: Gargoyles. So did Shakespearean characters. Jesus was nowhere in the building. Neither was Yahweh. Curious. I guess they lacked stage presence.
