They can have my money.
I'm going again Friday night. Please, take my money, Disney! Since I am getting a product I love, I have no complaints. Also, I want more action figures. Dead serious. I never got into collecting those as a kid, but I feel comfortable enough with myself to just go full on nerd, now. I have Rey and Daenerys Targaryen. My husband has Heath Ledger as the Joker (a very nice figure btw, really captures Ledger). I want Kylo Ren and BB8. I guess we need Batman next! lol. The only version open here in Dresden is 3D now, though. Opening weekend they had 2D English versions (very late showing), but now all the English versions are 3D. I'm not a huge fan of 3D, but hey, it'll make the second viewing different.

It was great.
A few tactical idiot moves on both sides that annoyed me. But really good over all.

My friends on a facebook, which includes a atheistforums person or two, says it sucks.
It's like the blindmen and elephant. Aurora and others keep admiring the trunk, ivory and broad shoulders. Anom and others keep reaching up the elephant's ass and reporting it is shitty. I intend to check it out for myself .. soon.

Don't take anyone else's word for it, either way.

I'm on my tablet which is hard to share links, but here are some fun facts:
Cinimascore uses scientific polling methods, and is relorelied ed upon by insiders in the industry to accurately score audience reactions to films. It's essentially exit polling. Imdb and Rotton Tomatoes and Metacritic audiences scores are not vetted, and there are many ways to either game the system, or get inaccurate statistics due to bots or just a passionate minority (pro or con) being more inclined to rate a movie than the general audience. These same sites do vet their critic ratings, so agree or disagree, they aren't shills or botts, at least. Cinimascore has polled TLJ 3 times, and its gotten an A all 3 times, or an 89%, from real time polled audiences. Do some people legit hate it? Absolutely. But not half of audiences, as some sites appear to show. This isn't the first movie with evidence of a vocal minority gaming these sites. And they have a right to their opinion, But what they do not have a right to is trying to tank a movie with cheap tactics, or tell fans who do like it they are dumb and not real fans, or only like it for...insert stupid reason here. Sorry, this sort of thing clearly annoys me, lol.

I enjoyed it. It has some seriously bad lines in places, "There's something inside me that's always been there," but all of the SW movies do, so that's okay. It was waaaaay longer than it needed to be. They probs should have cut the Jedis walking on hills scenes in about half. I found the Rey/Ben dynamic interesting, and I'm a bit confused about the Rey/Finn/Rose dynamic. What da fuck is happening?
