With that being said, there are adoption agencies specifically for special needs babies. There are many people out there wanting to adopt them. Contrary to popular belief, disabled people are not worthless or unwanted.

I know it's a tender issue, but you may have genetic issues with babies of your own. You want babies. You don't believe in abortion. You have a stable family and money. You go on and on about how adoption is a viable option.
You are the IDEAL family for adoption. Why haven't you done it yet?
We've talked about it and we may adopt. Right now I'm still doing fertility treatments every month to try to get pregnant again, at least once. One because adopting a baby costs about $60,000 (we are middle class and 60 grand is a lot for us) and is a very long process, two because being pregnant for almost 6 months only to have lost that baby leaves a void and a very strong desire to "get him back", if you will. It's hard to explain the pain of having been pregnant for that long, having maternity clothes in the back of your closet, belly stretch marks, having lactated, having ultra sound photos hung up pn your fridge, without a baby having come out of it. And accomplishing at least one healthy pregnancy would help bring closure to that pain. So right now, we are focusing on that.

You missed what Road runner asked - if you are saying that abortions are ok because a certain number of unborns die natually, then is it ok to terminate people because they die anyway - naturally? Thou it's not really the same thing

For me abortion is a problem of responsability not morality, if I had sex with the women for the porpouse of having a child , I will take responsability for it and even if it wasn't with that porpouse, I will still go along with it , I may have been dumb but it was still my action.
As for a child with down syndrome , I will give it a lot of thought.
I'm a guy and this is how I view abortion, I realise this is a decision that I can't take by myself but this will be my standing. I don't know , call me old fashion but I've had enough with guys my age(21) saying " Ow I fuck my girlfriend without a condom, just soo I can feel better when having sex and if she gets pregnant then we will have an abortion because I was a stupid fuck and I don't want to take responsability for my actions."
Edit : I don't know about you but I don't think abortion was created( thought about) so thath we as guys could fuck and impregnate girls in a spree and then force them to have abortions( I think that this is not a plesant procedure).

You are guessing that I'm reffering to religion but I'm not. I'm strictly speaking about the womans partener, partener whou should have a say because the baby doesn't appear from thin air, it is not a solo act , it's not like tthe woman grabs a hand of dirts , shoves it up her vagina and here comes the baby. Ultimately it is the decision of the female , but to ignor the opinion of your partener is absurd.

Abortion is taking responsibility If she could make it without sperm than he has no say.
So if I impregnate 5 woman just so that i could feel the full pleasure and make them have an abortion than I'm taking responsability
