Er. Cause I am an atheist. I came to this conclusion some time ago after a lot of thought about it. Your telling me "God is great!" isn't going to convince me that God exists. It's just not my thing. If it's yours great! I believe in science and the natural world. I do not believe in God, I think it's a preposterous belief.

I have never not believed in God, so I can't identify with you there, but I have tested God on many occasions to see if he would communicate or react to my requests. I have been elated many times with the results. Only a few professed believers practice actual communication with God. In ancient Israel that ratio was at one time 1:32,000.

I have believed in God, for about 5 minutes. It felt good. I remember it well. I just don't believe it. It's not plausible to me. 

I don't believe you have communicated with God, and believe there is a logical explanation, but it doesn't matter what I think about that. I think that's great that you have that feeling because it is a good one.

No it is not the greatest criterion , it is the criterion that we have. Why do you think science ocured ? Because sometime our logic fails , and we need evidence before making statements , one of the best exampels for this is " Homosexuality is a choice " a false statement wich caused a lot of hatred and suffering.

That's right, according to my experience, only the stones with gems in them are put to the grinder. That's all of us.
But I assume you are like me, that it is more difficult to cope with the knowledge of other people suffering, especially loved ones.
